Curious to know the official passing percentages on the USMLE step 2 CS? Well, we have the data until 2007 and as per the official data, the overall passing rates for American Medical Graduates is 97%. And the passing rate for IMG's is 76%.
For the first time takers, the IMG passing rate is 77% in the year 2007. However, if you look at the same passing rate in 2006, it is much higher at 85%. Obviously, the step 2 CS has gotten significantly difficult in the last year. The area most people tend to fail is Integrate Clinical Encounter and Communication and Interpersonal Skills, CIS.
The approach at UsmleSource is to address these two issues with a Mnemonic based approach that works even under stress and there is no chance to blank out! And our superior CIS work sheet helps in the difficult CIS part. That is why people who failed using UW, find UsmleSource very helpful!
